Downtown San Francisco stands at a defining crossroads. Once a thriving hub of commerce, culture, and connectivity, it now faces unprecedented challenges—from shifting work patterns and economic volatility to the urgent need for more inclusive, welcoming public spaces.
This event brings together civic leaders, designers, and community stakeholders to share visionary ideas and practical strategies for reimagining downtown as a dynamic center of innovation, community, and resilience. Panelists Claude Imbault (Deputy Director, Downtown SF Partnership), Danny Sauter (District 3 Supervisor, San Francisco) and Anne Taupier (Executive Director, Office of Economic and Workforce Development) will come together to share visionary ideas and practical strategies for reimagining downtown as a dynamic center of innovation, community, and resilience. Moderated by Radha Mistry, Americas Region Foresight Leader at Arup the conversation will address three core themes: infrastructure & transport, commerce & culture, and parks & civil society.
More than a discussion, this gathering is a call to action—inviting architects, planners, policymakers, business leaders, and engaged residents to collaborate on shaping the narrative and future of San Francisco’s urban core.
