Kick off the 22nd Annual Architecture + the City Festival with an unforgettable evening of music, food, drinks, and community at the Center for Architecture + Design in downtown San Francisco.
Enjoy music, delicious bites, and games while connecting with friends and fellow design enthusiasts. Flip through a selection of art and design books from the Stout Mobile Bookshop and explore our Silent Auction, featuring curated objects by architects and designers alongside archival artwork. Bidding opens at the party and continues through September 24.
The evening also marks the opening of The Reimagined City: San Francisco 2000–2025, curated by John King and Robin Abad Ocubillo. This exhibition invites audiences to consider the dramatic evolution of the city’s built environment since the turn of the millennium. Through vivid snapshots of transformed civic spaces, iconic landmarks, and reimagined neighborhoods, the show captures the forces—cultural, social, and architectural—that continue to shape how San Franciscans live, work, and gather today.
Together, the party and exhibition launch a month of more than 25 programs, from walking tours and talks to film screenings and youth workshops, celebrating the city’s culture of creativity and reinvention.
